Week 6
Week 5 Recap
5 weeks gone and what have we learned? Well to start, we are all sort of mid at fantasy. Six of us are tied at 2-3 which is kinda wild. Everyone laugh at Andy who's at 1-4. Don't worry either, he won't read this as he's too busy with husband duties now.
Another thing we learned is that David might be good at fantasy?? What universe are we in? He made his first playoff last season and is off to a great 4-1 start this year. I went through the archives and in David's first three years he only got 6 wins each season. He's already at 66.66% (repeating of course) through 5 weeks.
And so they aren't left out, Jason and Tido are also tied for first with David at 4-1 but that's to be expected of the top two teams in the all time leader board.
Speaking of leaderboards, as I was updating this week I noticed that Sharukh and Nathan are tied. And I know what you are saying..."Ben, didn't you already say six teams are tied, what's so special about that". And to which I would reply, "not so fast my friends". Sharukh and Nathan are both 2-3, yes, but that also have the EXACT SAME AMOUNT OF POINTS SCORED. I'm not sure this has happened after we switched to decimal scoring. I had to commemorate this special moment below:
Week 6 Preview
Lots of good matchups this week and unfortunately for me you all can't lose (I need as much a buffer as possible to avoid Sacko). David and Jason battle it out for potentially first place. Two matchups of 2-3 teams: Me vs Sharukh & Nathan vs CJ. Andy will go up against Bret and try to climb out of the slight Sacko hole he is currently in. And Tido, the highest scoring team, is up against Adam, the lowest scoring team.
Stats n' Stuff
So You Think You Can Dong?
Sharukh's bench went off last week resulting in him missing out on 34.2 additional points. This dropped him four spots in the overall rankings so far to 7th.
CJ had the worst week percentage wise as he only achieved 67.4% of his best potential. No harm really as he would have lost to Jason anyways and he is still in 2nd in the league at 87.6% on the season.
Adam is still in last at 77.7% but up slightly from last week's 76.3%
