Week 13 - Sorrow

Week 12 Recap

Ohio State, and therefore my mental health, is in shambles. Loser talk but McCord is clearly not the guy and I didn't want to 'waste' a win over UofX with our shaky team this year.

I hope that the athletics department keeps a level head as I don't think we should fire Day but I don't think he should be calling the plays anymore.

In fantasy land, I am on a miraculous 3-game winning streak. All this luck may have pulled me out of Sacko contention and my fiancée couldn't be happier. She did not want to have another 16 inch black dildo in the house.

Week 13 Preview

Updated Sacko Watch! We have 6 teams on Sacko watch and 6 teams eligible for the playoffs meaning two potential sacko contenders this late in the season could win it all. Kudos to everyone for having equally shitty teams.

Every team at 5-7 or worse is in contention for Sacko. And 5 out of the 6 play another Sacko contender over these final two weeks which means we are ripe for for chaos. Although Andy can ruin our fun pretty quickly if he loses this week...

Simple scenarios to avoid Sacko.

Sharukh: 1 more win or 1 more Andy loss

Adam: 1 more win or 1 more Andy loss

Ben: 1 more win or 1 more Andy loss. Andy has a points for advantage over me so if I lose out and he wins out and CJ wins one more game then I could be Sacko.

Bret: 1 more win or 1 more Andy loss. Currently in last place for the points for tie breaker.

CJ: 1 more win AND 1 more Andy loss. Currently ahead of Andy by 60 points in case of a tiebreaker between the two.

Andy: Needs at least 1 more win & CJ to lose 1 more & to gain a points advantage. OR needs to win out and any of the 5-7 teams lose out. Currently ahead of Ben and Bret in a points for tiebreaker event and 5 points behind Adam.

Onto playoff scenarios:

Jason: clinched 1st round bye. Currently 145 points behind Tido in case of a tiebreaker

Tido: basically clinched a 1st round bye. Can get 1 seed with 1 more win AND 1 more Jason loss. Can lose 2nd seed if losing out and David or Nathan wins out and overcomes your points for advantage.

David: essentially clinched the playoffs. Has a 160 point lead over the next closest 5-7 team that is outside the top 6. Needs a miracle to overcome Tido for a first round bye

Nathan: similar story to David but with a much narrower 62 point lead over the next closest team that could steal a spot.

One of the last two spots is most likely going to Sharukh. Adam needs to maintain a points advantage over Ben & Bret or to maintain more wins that CJ to stay in the playoffs.
