Week 14 Preview

It's the last week of the regular season and it all comes down to one more game for everyone except Jason and partially myself. I need a Hanukkah miracle to sneak into the playoffs as a 6th seed. 

Even though it is still the regular season the playoffs start now for Bret & Adam. They play each other this week and barring any crazy outscoring of other teams for tiebreakers, the winner will clinch a playoff spot and the loser will be left out.


Scenarios:

  • Jason:
    • Clinched 1st seed. Enjoy your extra bye week
  • Tido:
    • Clinch bye/2nd seed with a win OR loss by David
    • 3rd seed with loss AND David win AND David outscores by 39 points
  • David:
    • Bye/2nd seed with win AND Tido loss AND outscore Tido by 39 points
    • 3rd seed with win AND not outscoring Tido OR loss by Nathan
    • 4th seed with loss AND Nathan win AND Nathan outscores by 146 points
  • Nathan:
    • 3rd seed with win AND David loss AND outscore David by 146 points
    • 4th seed with win
    • 5th with loss AND Sharukh win.
    • 6th with loss AND Sharukh win AND Adam win AND Adam outscores by 32 points
  • Sharukh:
    • 4th seed with win AND Nathan loss.
    • Can drop out of playoffs with loss AND Bret win AND Adam outscores by 70 points. Unlikely
    • Many scenarios to seed between 5th & 6th
  • Adam:
    • Clinch playoffs with win
    • 4th seed with win AND Nathan OR Sharukh loss AND outscores Nathan or Sharukh.
    • Out with a loss
  • Bret:
    • Clinch playoffs with win
    • Out with a loss
  • Ben:
    • Lame duck week
    • Could sneak in with win AND Sharukh loss AND outscore Sharukh by 132
  • CJ:
    • Eliminated from playoffs
    • Sacko with loss AND Andy win AND Andy outscores by 91
  • Andy:
    • 99.999% Sacko
    • Can give it to CJ with win AND CJ loss and outscore CJ by 91
