Week 16 - What happened to 15?

Sorry about no post last week. Had a busy mid-week and then just forgot. My bad.

Since I have your attention, this is a reminder that the highest scoring team is calculated over the course of the playoffs (last week plus the next two weeks).

And that anyone you pickup off waivers to keep for next season will be kept at their original draft value from this season. For example, Chubb would be kept at as a first round pick. Puka Nacua would be a 16th rounder.

Week 14 & 15 Recap

It's playoff season! Congrats to the ~~six~~, I mean four teams now that are still in it!

Bret currently has the longest active playoff appearance streak in the league at 3 years in a row, and 4 of the last 5 seasons. Following Bret, David is also at 3 in a row. Crazy turnaround for someone who missed the playoffs in their first 4 seasons.

Let's give a welcome back to the postseason to our top two seeds. Both Jason and Tido skipped out last year and are back in it again this year. This now makes it 7 out of 9 seasons for Tido, and 6 of 9 for Jason.

Sharukh's short one-week time in the playoffs this year was his first time since 2020. And third time since 2016.

Now on to the losers...

Andy had his three year playoff streak snapped this year and was in the last 4 over the past 5 seasons prior.

Then there's Adam, who holds the league's currently active playoff drought at 4. He was so close to breaking it in his week 14 matchup against Bret that saw Bret go to the playoffs instead.

And then there's me, who has only been to the playoffs once over the past 5 seasons. At least my consolation was winning it all last year and not taking home the Sacko this year.

Week 16 - Round 2 Preview

Bret has won two win-or-go-home games in a row now and faces off against Tido who is coming off a comfy bye, and by his score, seemed to have rested all his players.

Dave won one of the closest playoff games in recent memory and had the highest scoring team last week. Will his luck continue into the powerhouse that is Jason's Non-Sacko Era?
