Week 3

Commissioner's Corner

Quick admin update on league scoring. I noticed that kickers were not being penalized for missed PATs. In the group chat, I said it was for missed FGs and PATs, but upon further review, I saw that missed FGs were being penalized correctly at -1 point per miss (no penalty if a kicker misses a 60+ yarder, FYI).

Missing a PAT now results in -1 point for the kicker. This change will go into effect for future weeks. ESPN, being ESPN, made the change retroactive for weeks 1 and 2. This impacted the game between CJ and David in week 2, as they had the only rostered kickers to miss a PAT this season. As such, I’ve added 1 point to each of the final scores to adjust for this.

Week 2 Recap

Hey Colts fans, why don't you guys Malik my balls? How did you guys make our backup QB look good?

I've had a pretty good week with the Packer win AND another win in fantasy AND I'm the highest scorer AGAIN.

Tido had a pretty awful week, so let's all laugh at him. He was the 3rd highest scorer but lost and lost Pacheco on top of that. I found incriminating evidence of  Tido going out to Kansas City and sneaking some horse placentas over to Pacheco:

Week 3 Preview

This week may not be too pretty for some of winless teams out there. 2 out of the 3 face off against undefeated teams.

In the NFL world we have a Monday night doubleheader! I love weeks when no teams are on a bye - so much football to watch.

Offers:

In addition to watching his NFL team lose, Nathan also lost everywhere in this week's offer report.
  • CJ had balls of Steele (get it) and won the backup KC running back for $26, narrowly beating out Nathan by $6
  • Tido got Quentin Johnston for $12, again beating out Nathan. But please tell me why is there hype around this guy, didn't he drop everything last year?
  • I spent $8 unnecessarily on Braelon Allen, a player I dropped the week prior. Guess I just like to waste money.

Stats n' Stuff

So You Think You Can Dong?

Lots of movement this week as a few teams left double-digit points open on their bench. As a consolation to all the losers this week: you would have lost anyways if everyone started their best lineups. Speaking of best lineups, Sharukh scored the first perfect of the season last week!
