2025 - Week 8

🏈 Week 7 Recap

Welcome all to the hijacking of the league note!! Ben has made the drastic mistake of handing the reigns of the blog to guest writers over the course of this season. Is this the start of Ben stepping down as Commissioner? Will he be overthrown? Do I have the editing ability to put a Michigan hoodie on one of his photos? We will see.

Ok now to get into the fantasy recap! For the second week in a row I've managed a Monday Night Miracle comeback! Jahmyr Gibbs absolutely BUSTED for 35 points in the 7pm game, and poor Nico Collins could not handle the pressure and definitely faked an injury in the 10pm game to seal the victory. Sorry Sharukh, better luck next time.

In other news I guess...it was a battle of the top teams, the undefeateds, the kings of the league this season. Jason vs. Ben. And Jason's team came out victorious and continued his reign of terror. Despite both teams having players put up goose eggs! Incredible. Jason doing his best 2007 Patriots impression, but he has run away with the league before and lost it in the finals - we will see how it plays out this time!

CJ took a very important win against Bret, winning the high score money for the second week this season, and putting some distance between him and the coveted Sacko. Quinshon Judkins with a massive weekend against the Dolphins in the rain and wind of beautiful Cleveland. Watch out league we're making the playoffs. But disappointing honestly, just accept it CJ, it's time for the dong to come home its been too long.

Another person that put some distance between himself and the Schlong, is Andy! Riding that Cleveland defense to a clutch win against Adam. And Dak Prescott remembered how to play football again. Maybe we won't have repeat loser this year after all.

Speaking of the bottom, poor David, still looking for his first win of the season. Dave taking care of business in this matchup. Also did they call a false start on the Tush Push this past weekend?? Guess the Chiefs are back to being the NFL darlings. David continues to fall behind in the all time standings to the late great Mukund. Don't worry David we still love you, since Ben isn't here you can claim his first round pick next season too.

🔮 Week 8 Preview

I'm having a lot of fun with this. Anyways in week 8 - next up on the Jason hit list is Sharukh. Is this the week? Nah. No chance Jason loses 😉. Andre plays Andy, Ben looks to rebound against Dave, CJ faces up against Adam, and Bret tries to continue David's misery. This could be a key weekend that either splits the league standings up further or brings everyone closer together! It could start to get spicy in here. The anticipation is killing me.

🥄 Spoon of the Week

Yes I am bringing it back! Since I have no idea how to do all the stats stuff, I guess that makes me the spoon right? But my honorary spoon of the week is....Ben!! 10 point loss when you leave 52 points on your bench between DeVonta Smith and Keenan Allen on your bench, brutal. But we all knew I was probably gonna pick Ben anyways.
