2025 - Week 9

Letter to the Editor

Let's start with a shoutout to Tido for an excellent celebrity league note. I was disappointed to find Megan had dressed so poorly for her own wedding. With Ben being in Japan this week, I (Bret) volunteered to take a crack at this. 

Week 8 Recap

We had some big games at the bottom of the league leaderboard this week. Important wins for teams distancing themselves from the feared dong of shame. Andy getting a win thanks to Saquan taking the team on his back. 

I did my best to lose to David, but my Buccaneer defense would not let that happen. They may have creamsicle jerseys, but I had a creamsicle in my pants watching them rack up the points. Adam getting a second win of the season is also huge for David whose fist seems to be all but closing around this season's dong. 

This took me so long to create and edit

I loved seeing Judkins put up a 26 burger against me last week, for him to only get 3.2 the next week. Nathan held Ben off and secured another win. Sharukh was able to end Jason's winning streak in a big way with his team scoring the highest points of the week, make sure Ben-chan sends your well-earned 758.73 ¥.

We had a brutal injury with everybody's favorite CTE boi, Skattebo. He left the game early, not with a concussion like many expected, but with a broken leg. I was able to find a rarely seen angle of that injury below. Could this mean that Jason will finally lose some more games?

Week 9 Preview

All eyes will be on David and Adam this week as they enter an early sacko-bowl. David has an opportunity to turn the momentum around with a win this upcoming week followed by a matchup with Andy. We have some important games this week as most everybody is playing somebody with a similar record. This season is interesting with everybody in a big pack in the middle with a couple outliers.

Spoon of the Week

This weeks spoon is Ben for believing it acceptable to forsake his commissioner duties for a trip to Japan. He should have scheduled his vacation for the off-season.
