2025 - Week 11
👑Commissioner's Corner
Bravo to our guest writers Tido, Bret, and David for their posts the last three weeks. Your write-ups, Photoshops, and gifs were so good I’m starting to worry about my iron grip on this league. The tyranny might be slipping.
Special shoutout to David, whose Week 14 encore is already circled on my calendar. If anyone else feels the creative itch, let me know; the commissioner’s quill is always open to challengers.
🏈Week 10 Recap
Fresh off my Japan campaign, I’ve returned with one key lesson: always roster two bomb(shells).
Last week, JT detonated for 48 fantasy points. The week before, Bowers dropped a 37-burger straight onto Bret’s chest in a game I probably had no business winning. But hey, commissioner magic.
Meanwhile, the league went full chaos mode in my absence:
- Jason, once atop the throne, has dropped three straight
- Sharukh surged and won each week, putting him within striking distance of first and solidifying his playoff chances
- David finally found the win column and then did it again! Maybe there is some league note writers magic?
🔮Week 11 Preview
No marquee matchups this week, but the stakes couldn’t be higher. With the standings tighter than Bret’s grasp on the word “aggregate,” every game matters.
No team has clinched. No team has been eliminated. But I could be the first to punch my playoff ticket with a win over Andy, or if Bret stumbles to Jason.
The bottom five squads are clawing for survival. ESPN’s playoff predictor says there’s just one open spot left. Let the hunger games begin.
